The service
Dolph is a research tool that retrieves public financial filings, normalizes reported data, calculates financial metrics, and produces reports, charts, and exports. Features, limits, data sources, and output formats may change as the service is maintained and improved.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use Dolph. You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify the operator promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price and interval shown during checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the Stripe billing portal available from Account Settings. Unless the checkout or applicable law states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Plan features and usage limits are described on the Pricing page. Taxes may be added when required. Refunds are not automatic. Requests involving an incorrect or disputed charge are reviewed based on usage, billing circumstances, and applicable law.
Research only
Dolph provides information and research tools. It does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or brokerage advice. Dolph does not recommend buying, selling, or holding any security. Nothing produced by the service creates an adviser, fiduciary, attorney-client, accountant-client, broker, or rating-agency relationship.
You are responsible for your own research and decisions. Review cited filings and consult qualified professionals when appropriate before acting on financial or legal matters.
Data and output accuracy
Dolph relies on public filings, XBRL facts, third-party infrastructure, calculations, and generated narrative. Sources can contain errors, omissions, restatements, delays, or inconsistent tagging. Calculations and generated text can also be incomplete or wrong. No output is guaranteed to be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use Dolph in violation of law or another person's rights.
- Attempt to bypass account, subscription, usage, or security controls.
- Interfere with the service or place unreasonable load on its infrastructure.
- Probe, scan, or test systems for vulnerabilities without written permission.
- Use automated access except through an interface or API expressly made available for that purpose.
- Misrepresent Dolph output as audited, certified, or endorsed by the SEC or an analyzed issuer.
- Use the service to distribute malware, deceptive material, or unlawful content.
Ownership
Dolph, its interface, software, branding, and original site content belong to the operator or applicable licensors. Public filings and third-party names, marks, and data remain subject to their respective owners and source terms.
You retain rights in material you submit. You grant Dolph the limited permission needed to process that material, run the requested analysis, store reports you choose to save, and provide the service to you.
Third-party services
Dolph depends on services operated by third parties, including SEC EDGAR, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, identity providers, and model providers. Their availability and terms are outside Dolph's control. Links to third-party services do not mean that Dolph endorses or controls them.
Availability and changes
The service may be changed, suspended, limited, or discontinued. Maintenance, provider outages, filing availability, or security events may interrupt access. Dolph does not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent retention of reports and exports. Keep independent copies of material you need.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dolph is provided "as is" and "as available." The operator disclaims express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, trading losses, business interruption, or decisions made using Dolph. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Dolph during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these terms, nonpayment, security risk, legal requirement, or harm to the service or other users. You may stop using Dolph at any time. You can delete your account from Account Settings.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when Dolph changes or when legal and operational requirements change. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
